BA310 MET

Upright microscope for advanced work in material sciences.

Flat metal surfaces and opaque materials from industry can be examined by the new CCIS© LM Plan Achromat objectives.

Lab technicians, but also teachers are enabled to work on reflective, non-covered specimens from industrial quality control and technical schools.

The BA310 MET optics is based on CCIS© LM Plan Achromatic objectives for reflecting samples. The N-WF 10X/20 eyepieces provide a fast sample overview. Stands with transmitted light are ready for implementing objectives with cover-glass correction thanks to a unified focal length.

The Epi-Illuminator carries a 50W HAL/3W LED light source with Field and Aperture diaphragm, powered by an external power supply. In case of a Transmitted light stand, an LWD condenser with N.A.0.85 is implemented in a Full-Koehler setup with integrated 30W HAL/3W LED power.

The BA310 MET microscopes may show a variety of stages for diverse samples. The transmitted light stands always carry a glass stage insert for transparent samples. The coaxial coarse/fine focus with tension adjustment and 2µm minimum increment allows a smooth focusing.

In Incident light, a simple Polarizer/Analyzer combination enables Polarization contrast, but also reduces undesired reflections, especially at low magnifications. In Transmitted light, the Full-Koehler setup allows to work out the finest sample details in Brightfield.
