Panthera TEC


A new kind of Transmitted light and Transmiitted and Incident workstations for the investigation of birefringent samples:

Panthera TEC POL Digital is a binocular microscope with a set of new UC Plan Achromatic objectives, working with UC eyepieces of 22mm Field of View.

The key issue of this workstation is a 5MP multiple output camera, managed by an ImagingOnDevice System.

The Motic LightTracer system with memory function, a built-in Low-Energy mode and an LED feedback indicator additionally helps to optimise your workflow.


The Transmitted light microscopes are based on a Full Koehler setup with interchangeable Halogen/LED light source. For Transmitted/Incident light models, a compact reflective light illuminator with 3W LED and built-in Field-and Aperture diaphragm is added.

The Panthera TEC POL microscopes carry a 360° rotatable stage for an exact positioning of the sample. The reversed 5-fold nosepiece is prepared for the centration of the objectives. The coaxial coarse/fine focus with tension adjustment and 2µm minimum increment allows a smooth focusing.

All Panthera TEC POL models are Bright Field microscopes. The Intermediate tube carries a focusable/centrable Bertrand lens, a 360° rotatable Analyser and a 45° orientated compensator slot. A set of compensators from ¼ Lambda to Quartz wedge is ready to work with the Interference colour chart for a semi-quantitative analysis of the sample.
