BA310POL

Powerful Polarization microscope especially meant for the examination of birefringent samples from petrography and mineralogy, but can also be used for synthetic materials like foils or fibres from industrial production.

Can also be supplied for incident light use with additional limb and lamphouse.

The BA310POL Series is based on strain-free CCIS© EC Plan Achromatic objectives for transmitted light samples. The N-WF 10X/20 eyepieces provide a fast sample overview, with an implemented crosshair reticle and guide pin. The centration of the objectives is easily done on the nosepiece.

The built-in 30W Halogen light source is part of a Full Koehler setup with Field diaphragm for optimized image contrast by reducing stray light. The strain-free Achromatic Swing-in/out condenser with N.A. 0.90/0.13 and Aperture diaphragm contributes to a darkest possible image background.

The BA310POL microscopes carry a 360° rotatable stage for an exact positioning of the sample. The reversed 4-fold nosepiece is prepared for the centration of the objectives. The coaxial coarse/fine focus with tension adjustment and 2µm minimum increment allows a smooth focusing through the sample.

The Intermediate tube carries a focusable/centrable Bertrand lens, a 360° rotatable Analyzer and a 45° orientated compensator slot. A set of compensators from ¼ Lambda to Quartz wedge is ready to work with the Interference color chart for a semi-quantitative analysis of the sample.

Also chosen for the Microscopes Plus Asbestos Identification microscope.
