TB detection using LED FL


It is well known fact that fluorescence microscopy is a faster, accurate and more sensitive way to detect TB (tuberculosis) but up until now has always been more costly especially considering the areas of the world where the need is greater.


Now the MOTIC BA210 EPI LED  tailored to FITC (blue light fluorescence) can cross the performance cost divide.


LED’s only require the power of  two internal rechargeable batteries, making it ideal for areas of the world  with erratic power supplies or field work away from any access to power and as LED’s have a life in excess of 20,000 hours there are virtually no running costs.
